陰部がすごく痛くて、赤いポツポツができました。少し熱もあるようです。
＜女性患者の場合：陰部が赤くただれて痛みがあり、排尿が困難です。＞
I have a lot of pain in my private parts, and (red breakouts).
I also feel a little feverish.
＜A female patient: My private parts are swollen and red and painful. Besides, I have a problem with (urination)＞

いつからそのような症状が出ましたか？
When did you have such symptoms?

2日ほど前からです。
A couple of days ago.

症状を確認しますので、下着を降ろして患部を見せてもらえますか？
I would like to confirm what you have. Please remove your underwear so I can see

このような症状が出たのは初めてですか？
Is this the first time you have had this condition?

はい。初めてです。
Yes. This is the first time for me.

性器ヘルペスの初感染かもしれません。
性器ヘルペスの初感染は性交渉などの接触によってヘルペスウイルスに感染する病気です。
何か思い当たることはありますか？
It may be (a primary genital herpes).
The primary genital herpes is caused by a herpes virus infection through contact such as sexual relations.
Do you (recall) any exposures?

1週間ほど前に性交渉がありました。
Yes, I had sexual relations about one week ago.

それでは検査してみます。
綿棒でこするので少し痛みを感じるかもしれませんが我慢してください。
この検査で陽性のラインが出たら性器ヘルペスと診断できます。
15分ほどお待ちください。
I will do a test. I will take a sample with (a cotton swab).
You may feel a little pain, but
(please bear with me). If this test is positive, you have genital herpes.
This may take about
15 minutes.

検査で陽性でしたので、やはり、性器ヘルペスに感染しているようです。
The test is positive, so you have genital herpes.

抗ヘルペスウイルス薬の飲み薬を処方しておきます。
ウイルスが増えるのを抑える薬ですので、決められた回数をしっかり服用してください。
治るまでは2～3週間くらいかかります。
I will prescribe antivirals to be taken orally.
This medicine suppresses (the growth of the virus), so be sure to take it (at the specified times).
It will take 2 to 3 weeks until you recover.

ほかの人に感染しますか？
Could I give it to anyone else?

症状が出ている部分に接触すると感染しますので、症状が出ているときの性交渉は避けてください。
また、ウイルスが付着した物を介して感染することもあるので、
タオルなどの共有も控えてください。
Yes, if there is contact with the affected area, you can be infectious.
Therefore, you should avoid sexual relations while you have the symptoms.
Also, infection can occur through objects that might have been (contaminated with the virus),
so please avoid sharing of towels and other objects.
